The School Kit Project (TSKP) is a passionate nonprofit dedicated to providing underprivileged children with access to education and the tools they need to succeed.

We believe that education is the key to unlocking a better future. Many children from disadvantaged backgrounds face barriers that hinder their educational journey. Our mission is to break down those barriers.

Through generous donor support, we provide school kits, stationery, fee assistance, and work with local schools to ensure every child has a fair chance at learning.

What is The School Kit Project?

How can I donate?

You can donate directly through our website using PayPal or a credit/debit card. We accept one-time donations and recurring monthly or annual contributions. For organizational partnerships, please email us at mail@theschoolkit.org.

How are donations used?

Your donations go directly to purchasing and distributing school kits and stationery, supporting school fees for underprivileged children, and funding school infrastructure projects. We prioritize transparency and provide regular updates to supporters on the impact being made.

Can I specify how my donation is used?

While we appreciate your input, we typically allocate donations based on the most pressing needs to maximize impact. However, you can choose to donate specifically to one of our active projects — the 500 School Kits or New School initiative. Contact us to discuss further.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Tax receipts are available for eligible donations. Please contact us at mail@theschoolkit.org after donating to request your receipt. We are working toward full registered charity status in Canada which will enable automatic receipting for all donors.

Which countries do you operate in?

We are based in Canada and primarily focus on children in the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) and across African countries. We work with local partner organizations and schools to identify and reach the most disadvantaged children.

Can I volunteer with TSKP?
